दिहाड़ी की कहानी
Built by Community, For Community
Dihaadi is not a business. It's a giving-back initiative — a free platform restoring dignity to daily-wage work across rural India.
The Problem We Saw
India has over 400 million informal workers. In rural and semi-urban areas, women who clean homes, wash utensils, cook meals, and care for children go door-to-door with zero negotiating power. Men who fix electrical issues, do plumbing, or paint houses rely entirely on word-of-mouth within a 1-2 km radius.
If a family moves or stops needing them, they lose income with no backup. A woman who is an excellent cook has no way to showcase this beyond her immediate circle. These workers don't exist on the internet — no digital presence, no visibility, no upward mobility.
Urban Company serves metro cities. But nobody serves Tier-3/4 towns and rural India. Until now.
Our Solution
Dihaadi is a free, community-driven platform that gives daily-wage workers a digital identity. Workers create profiles showcasing their skills, work photos, and availability. Households browse and connect directly — no payments through the platform, no middleman, no commission.
What We Do
- Connect workers with nearby households
- Give workers a free digital identity
- Enable skill showcasing with work photos
- Build community networks among workers
What We Don't Do
- We don't take money or commissions
- We don't employ anyone
- We don't guarantee work quality
- We simply connect — like a notice board
Our Core Values
Dignity First
Every design decision respects the worker. No pity, only empowerment.
Zero Money Flow
The platform never touches money. Workers and households deal directly.
Community Driven
Local volunteers help onboard, verify, and support workers.
Full Transparency
We don't employ anyone, guarantee work quality, or take commissions.
Simplicity
If a WhatsApp user can't figure it out in 30 seconds, it's too complex.
Zero Data Exploitation
Worker data is never sold, shared, or used for advertisements.
